We are building a marketplace where buying something can be a shared thing — a list you keep with someone, a gift several people chip in for, a store you walk through together.
What we are trying to build
A purchase is rarely a solo act. Someone asks what you think, someone sends a link, several people club together for a birthday. Most storefronts treat all of that as noise happening somewhere else. We would rather it happened here.
So the features we build are the ones you use with other people: shared lists, group gifts and shopping together. Sellers register in the seller portal, and you can narrow the seller directory to verified sellers only.

What we hold to
Trust and safety
Payment is taken on a hosted checkout page rather than by us, sellers can be verified, and a delivered order carries its own return window.
Community first
Lists, group gifts and shared sessions all exist for the same reason: most shopping is something you do with other people.
Small and honest
Jstreems is new. We would rather ship a short list of things that work than a long one that does not.
